We see what others might overlook. Most of it is small: an animal in the wrong place, sitting too still, too close to the water.
The stronger should always stand up for the weaker.
We noticed.
So we stopped.

The first story is being written.
We are outside more often than we are behind a screen. What we meet is written down here as soon as there is time for it.
Help
We take responsibility for what is in front of us, and we call someone who knows more whenever that is the right thing to do.

We show what happened, plainly, so the next person recognises it sooner than we did.
Pass it on
The point is not us. The point is that someone else stops too.

Not because we are above them. Because we have the ability to help.
When we notice suffering, we don't look away.
We do what we can. We ask for help when we need it. And we pass the example on.

- One person who stops.
- Another person who notices.
- A community that cares.
Maybe change doesn't begin with something big.
Maybe it begins with noticing.
Someone has to notice.
